Tata Motors has announced that it will deliver 80 electric buses to the West Bengal Transport Corporation. The order includes forty devices of 9-meter Ultra Electric AC E-buses and forty units of 12-meter e-buses, out of which 20 machines of the 9-meter e-buses have already been introduced. The organization has stated that the closing 20 nine-meter electric-powered buses could be delivered via March 31, while the 12-meter e-buses might be added in a phased way. The first lot was flagged off via Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and their inaugural adventure from Nabanna, Howrah.
