Tata To Supply 80 Electric Buses To West Bengal Transport Corporation

Tata Motors has announced that it will deliver 80 electric buses to the West Bengal Transport Corporation. The order includes forty devices of 9-metre Ultra Electric AC E-buses and forty units of 12-metre e-buses, out of which 20 machines of the 9-meter e-buses have already been introduced. The organization has stated that the closing 20 nine-meter electric-powered buses could be delivered via March 31, while the 12-meter e-buses might be added in a phased way. The first lot was flagged off via Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and their inaugural adventure from Nabanna, Howrah.

These 80 electric buses are a part of the agency’s extensive schedule to supply 255 electric-powered buses in 6 cities throughout India.
