NEW DELHI: The Indian Army Monday started a ten-day army exercise with the military of 17 African countries at Aundh in Maharashtra, reflecting the growing strategic ties between India and the African continent. The international locations taking part in the inaugural version of the Africa-India Field Training Exercise (AFINDEX) consist of Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Benin, and Botswana, the Army stated right here.
