Joel Martin McCulley, loving husband, son, brother, and uncle, was handed away peacefully at his home Tuesday evening, May 14, 2019. On January 14, 1956, Joel was born to Lloyd and Roberta (Allen) McCulley in Trenton, Missouri. Joel turned married to Sonya Marie Griffin on October 13, 1983.

Joel attended Trenton Schools when he became more youthful and graduated from Trenton High School. After High School, he attended Mid-America Nazarene College in Olathe, KS, returning to Trenton to complete his career of forty-three years at Hy-Vee Food Store. In 2015, Joel received the Hy-Vee Legendary Customer Service Award. He is understood as using all because of the “beneficial smile in every aisle”.

Joel changed into a member of the Trenton Church of the Nazarene. Likewise, he is survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Griffin, Trenton; his brother-in-law, Mark (& Heidi) Woods, Omaha, NE; his sister-in-regulation Michelle Griffin, Trenton; and his unswerving pets, Daisy and Benji.

Funeral offerings could be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at eleven:00 A.M. On the Church Of The Nazarene, Trenton. The burial will be in Edinburg Cemetery, west of Trenton.

Family visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2019, from 6:00 P.M. To 8:00 P.M. At Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.

Memorials to: Church Of The Nazarene to be used for Children’s Camp, and they’ll be left or mailed to the funeral home.
